Jediael Placio

Jediael Placio, is a telecom engineer for 12 years, rekindled his love for art after an officemate persuaded him to meet UE fine arts professor Manuel De Guzman 2 years ago. With Maestro Manuel’s guidance, he was able to create art again through paintings using Oil on Canvas.

Growing up in Payatas, Quezon City, his art aims to find “happyness” amidst the sadness-engulfed society today. Currently on a journey on finding his true form as an artist, his works includes a mix of realism & impressionism with a little bit of abstract. With vast influences from modern artists like Osamu Obi, Cesar Santos; Filipino artists like Juan Luna, Mauro Malang; Impressionists like Edgar Degas, Paul Cezanne & Tom Roberts.
